The story behind Tama Ye

Tama Ye is the most rhythm led thing Bonama and I have done together. The vocal chant came first and everything followed its pulse.

We leaned hard into African percussion and kept the melodic content minimal, letting the groove and the voices carry the entire track.

This one is built for a crowd. It does not ask for attention, it takes it.
