Silk Road with Ntfadi is a travel record in the most literal sense. We wanted a track that sounds like crossing several borders inside six minutes.

Stringed instruments trade places over percussion that keeps changing shape, so the groove never settles in one region for long.

It sits right in the middle of everything I love: Middle Eastern melody, African rhythm, electronic patience.
