The story behind OUJDA

OUJDA started from a melody I could not stop humming, something that felt like a border town at night where two languages meet in the same sentence.

I built it around a stringed line that keeps circling back, the way a memory does. Under it, the kick stays soft and the shakers do most of the talking.

For me this is organic house at its most nostalgic: not dramatic, just steady, warm, and a little homesick.
