The story behind Duende

Duende is the Spanish word for that thing in a performance you cannot explain, and working with AIWAA was the right way to chase it.

The track is flamenco in spirit rather than in form: clapped rhythms, a vocal that sounds like it is holding something back, drums that keep the pressure on.

It became one of my most played records and later got a Bonama remix, which took it somewhere even more physical.
