The story behind Granada

Granada is a love letter to a city where Arab and Spanish history sit inside the same walls, which is more or less the sound I chase anyway.

The guitar phrase came first and everything else was built to support it. The drums stay soft and shuffling so the melody never has to fight.

Out on Qualista, it is probably the warmest record I have made, the one I would hand to someone who has never heard organic house before.
