The story behind Marrakesh

Marrakesh is the souk, honestly. Too many sounds at once, and somehow a rhythm underneath all of it.

I recorded a lot of small percussive details and let them overlap until the groove felt crowded in a good way, then cleared space for one long melodic line to cut through.

It is my most direct nod to North African music inside an electronic frame, and it always lands harder live than I expect.
